Seeking Diamonds

This quilting class introduces students to the construction of the half-rectangle triangle (HRT) block, a dynamic block that adds movement and modern design to quilts.  Suitable for adventurous beginners and experienced quilters alike, the class focuses on accuracy and technique to ensure clean points and consistent sizing.

Students will learn how to properly cut and mark fabric, sew and trim half-rectangle blocks for prescise alignment, and understand the orientation of the block for successful layout and design.  The class also covers common challenges-such as bias edges and block distortion-and how to avoid them through careful pressing and assembly.

This class is perfect for quilters looking to expand their skills and explore new design possibilities.
